“…It soon became clear that Dan Bejar was master of a singular songcraft—and one who was only just getting started, because the following year brought us Streethawk: A Seduction. And every last inch—and we don’t mean this hyperbolically: EVERY. LAST. INCH.—of Streethawk is a true classic.”—
I really hope that Dan Bejar writes his own press releases. (via perpetua)

Hive Mind, I need your help! (but I’ll also accept your indifference)
My email just stopped sending from the Mail app, this happened on my home computer too last week and I fixed it by deleting my user account and then readding it. But it deleted all my saved emails with the account last time, (which wasn’t a big deal because they were all still on my laptop). For some reason, I can’t seem to find anything on how to do this on the internet, so does anyone know how or have a good link for backing up my messages?
Music aficionado Charles Vestal is taking a break from iTunes for a year and only listening to records, CDs and tapes. His music taste and blog are excellent, as is the first mix he’s put together, (with all the tunes ripped from wax for that nice warm sound). Download it here.

I’m building an army of stuffed animals to raise money for Twenty Wonder. For one night only artists, musicians, filmmakers and inventors will gather together for gigantic fair. Proceeds from the event are donated to important programs that benefit those born with Down Syndrome living in Los Angeles.
Here is the link to their website if you want to purchase tickets and party down March 6th. http://www.twentywonder.org
